The 2005 New England Capture the Flag Contest is about to start!
What is this all about?

At the end of April, a number of special Geocaching.com Travel Bugs will be released into various caches throughout New England. Two teams, Northern New England and Southern New England, will battle to see which side can accumulate the most points before next Halloween.

Can I play, too?

Absolutely! All you need to participate is an active user account on Geocaching.com. To play, you simply follow the progess of one of the participating Travel Bugs on Geocaching.com, and when the bug comes into your area, you grab it and move it along to help your team!

Then you just watch the scoreboard to follow your team's progess.

Which team am I on?

If your home is in Vermont, New Hampshire, or Maine, you are on the North Team. If your home is in Massachusetts, Connecticut, or Rhode Island, you are on the South Team. If you don't live in New England, or want to play for a different team, just read the rules and figure out for yourself how to move the bugs to gain the most points for which ever side you favor.

Can I get my my own bug into the contest?

Note! As of April 25th, our rosters have been filled up, so we may not be accepting any more Travel Bug entries. However, if you feel strongly about getting a bug in the contest, please let us know, and if we have a matching contributor from the other team, we might allow you both in.
